Simple & Easy Mac n’ Cheese with Applewood Smoked BBQ Chicken on top.
Applewood BBQ Chicken Mac n' Cheese
Ingredients
330 gm Applewood BBQ Chicken 330g
250 gm (Penne, Shells, Macaroni) Short Pasta
2 cups (Grated) Mozzarella
2 cups (Grated) Mild Cheddar
0.5 cup Cooking Cream
2 Tbl Favorite BBQ Sauce
1 Tsp Smoked Paprika
0.5 Tsp Cayenne Pepper / Chili Powder
1 Tsp Onion Powder
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
0.5 Tsp Black Pepper
3 Tbl (Finely chopped) Parsley
How to Cook
- Bring 2 liters of salted water to a boil and stir in pasta
- In a large mixing bowl combing cheese, cream BBQ sauce, dry seasonings and parsley and combine thoroughly
- When al dente, drain pasta and reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water.
- Add pasta to cheese mixture and combine thoroughly, add pasta water as needed
- Using olive oil or butter, coat the inside of an oven safe baking dish and transfer pasta to the dish
- Arrange Tyson Applewood BBQ Chicken wings on top of the pasta
- Bake the dish in a 200'c preheated oven for 18-20min or until nicely browned on top
- Serve with salad or vegetables and extra BBQ sauce if desired
